Global Outreach

The church in Picayune has a rich history of spreading the Gospel throughout the world with a vibrant and active Missions program. Missionaries are nurtured and supported as they take the message of Christ to other parts of the world. An added emphasis on identifying and developing young missionaries from right here at home will strengthen our efforts and ensure that “sun never sets” on Picayune’s mission points.

Angola

We support Nathan and Dr. Ubutu Holland as part of a mission team to Angola.

The Hollands went to Angola with the intention of church planting in an urban context. God initially opened other doors for the team and over the past years we have gained valuable experience and relationships in a more rural or peri-urban context. They have expressed a need to wrestle with and return to our original vision for what will likely be a cell model of church planting. This will be quite different from the work we have been involved in and we will be working with a quite different segment of the Angolan population. Please pray for the Angola mission team and specifically the Hollands.

Thailand

Neale Bryan and his family served as missionaries to Thailand.  They have returned back to the states. Neale is preaching in Missouri.

Although we are no longer supporting the Bryans as missionaries, please continue to pray for the people in Thailand.
